Software Team Lead

Software Team Lead
A full-time Software Team Lead role reporting directly to the VP of R&D. You will combine technical leadership with people management, driving architecture decisions, ensuring high-quality execution, and mentoring engineers to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, including hiring
- Own end-to-end delivery of team projects — from planning to production
- Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, and system reliability
- Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to translate priorities into execution plans
- Improve team processes, velocity, and engineering best practices
- Contribute hands-on to critical parts of the system when needed
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of software engineering experience
- 0–2+ years of team leadership (no prior experience required)
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience building systems on AWS and cloud-native architectures
- Ability to drive high-velocity execution through others
- Strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with LLMs and modern AI/ML workflows (Bedrock, Vertex AI, RAG, Agents)
- Background in healthcare, health tech, or regulated environments

Software Engineer
A full-time Software Engineer role where you will take ownership of core features across the stack — mainly from backend to frontend — and contribute to the architecture, scalability, and performance of Guardoc's AI-driven healthcare platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own core features end-to-end, from backend to frontend
- Contribute to architecture, scalability, and performance of our AI platform
- Work closely with R&D, Product, Clinical, and Data teams
- Design and implement intelligent, production-grade systems leveraging LLMs, serverless infrastructure, and real-time data
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python for backend/data/AI systems
- Basics in TypeScript and React
- Experience with AWS services and scalable cloud-native architectures
- Passion for clean, maintainable code and system design
- Strong communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven systems
- Familiarity with LLMs and modern AI/ML workflows
- Background in healthcare, health tech, or regulated environments
